Working At Home With A Toddler!!

I am up early trying to get some work done before my little one wakes up! I thought that the older he got the easier it would be for me too work at home! Man, was I wrong! He wants more attention now more than ever. I have to chase him all over the house because he gets into stuff, he just wears me out. I can work really early in the morning , nap time, and really late at night. So basically — I GET NO SLEEP AT ALL! I have tried everything to try and keep him busy while I try to work. He does love the Backyardigans and Barney, but they only last a half hour. I did luck out and got him a bunch of Barney videos , but he does not watch them for very long. So I guess that since I want to work at home, I will just have to get used to no sleep.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO ENTERTAIN A LITTLE ONE WHILE YOU TRY TO WORK AT HOME.

Have two at a time! I have twin toddlers, and I work from home. It’s tough, but at least the twins entertain each other.
Couple of things that work for me sometimes:
Too-old-to-eat dry rice, plastic measuring cups, wooden bowls, plastic and wooden spoons, etc. It might seem messy, but it only requires a quick sweep or vacuum to clean. I sweep it and save it in a bag for next time.
Finger-painting with pudding works, too, but I’d recommend doing it outside!

I got my LO some paint with water books and he sits at his Little Tykes table with water and big fat toddler size paint brush and paints all afternoon!!!

Haha, the Backyardigans are really cool. Barney not so much, although he is a little older like Thomas. Many of their educational things can be found at
